Bill spent 33 years with the Peterborough County Board of Education as a teacher, resource teacher and Arts Consultant. He
has a Master’s degree in Philosophy as well as an Associate diploma in Vocal Performance. In 1998 Bill was seconded to the Ministry of Education to assist in the writing of the new Music Curriculum for the Province of Ontario. In 1995 he was the recipient of the Prime Minister’s Award for Excellence in Teaching. Bill is now retired and teaches Voice Production from his home in Peterborough, Ontario, Canada.
Bill has been a member and director of choirs and musical performances throughout his career. He directs a bi-annual event entitled “Voices of Christmas” consisting of 45-60 local choristers. In 2005 he directed a 128-voice choir for the City of Peterborough’s Centennial celebrations. In addition, Bill has been the Music Director for numerous musical productions for the local theatre guild for which he writes and arranges both orchestration and choral parts. In 2006 Bill recorded the 23 Mozart piano concerti.
